Assi el Helani (Mohammed el Helani), was born to a large family on November 28 in Baalbeck, Lebanon in 1970. He is the third youngest among his 13 brothers and sisters. Assi's musical talent became evident very early, when as a child he was performing Lebanese songs in circle of his friends and family. His passion for singing intensified with time, however, and when he was 17 Assi embarked officially his music career, winning in the “Art Studio TV Program” for young artists.
